Facilities and Program

The Golf Center of Excellence has access to many indoor facilities including the Dane Family Field House (indoor dome). A state of the art indoor golf facility will be built and the students will be working with the Director of Golf 5 to 6 days a week throughout the school year. One of the main goals of the program is to help participants continue to develop and play golf at the collegiate level. With Coach Higdon’s experience and networks within in the college industry, SSM will be able to find the right college environment for each participant. The most important consideration during the college selection process is to make sure the college or university is the right fit for the individual as a player and as a student.

Shattuck-St. Mary’s School operates The Legacy Golf Course located directly across the street from campus. Students have unlimited access to the course as well as the indoor facilities. This setting makes the Golf Center of Excellence a truly unique experience as SSM enables students to pursue their passions and academics all at one location. Students do not waste time commuting to school or the golf facility.
